Fundraising for Local Charities
Charities supported by the Club are tax-exempt organizations in Northern Virginia that are completely benevolent or philanthropic in nature. The Club’s primary purpose is charitable and it supports local charities through clothing and food drives and its annual House Tour event fundraiser.
Woman's Club Community Garden
Initiated by the Woman's Club in its 1995-1996 year, the Community Garden has become a quiet place to delight the eye and soothe the soul. All Lake Barcroft residents are invited to enjoy the delights of this lovely lakeside garden and to participate in its continuing development, for a garden is never finished.
The Club seeks to unify the women of Lake Barcroft by offering social opportunities to get to know each other and support each other as a community. Social activities include weekly or monthly daytime and evening actvities organized by the Club's many Special Interest Groups; themed gatherings such as a dance party, wine tasting party, etc. and; an annual Holiday Party.
