Members who have a particular interest that they want to share with others have organized Special Interest Groups. These groups are a wonderful way to meet women who share a common interest. They range from learning how to save time cooking daily meals to exercise classes, some held in person and some on virtual platforms. Special Interest Groups set their own schedules and some charge a fee to help cover their costs. Participation is optional. A member can sign up for as many Special Interest Groups as she desires or start one of her own.
Theater Adventures
There’s nothing like live theater! Together we’ll see diverse performances at various local area venues and take advantage of group discounts and the convenience of carpooling. A group theater outing is being planned for about every other month. The schedule will be emailed to group members when available.
Crafts and Quaff
Do you love to make things whether its papercrafting, beading, knitting, crochet or other needlework? Bring your project in progress or start a new craft or project in a supportive environment.
Creative Floral Arrangements
Learn hands-on the creative and an artful ways to arrange flowers in vases, bowls, baskets or other containers using cut flowers, foliages, herbs, ornamental grasses and other plant materials.
Learn to Play Jeopardy or Trivial Pursuit with Friends
Are you ready to take the challenge and be a contestant, or do you want to cheer from the audience? Laugh or cheer – whatever you do, don’t call out the answer!
Mahjong
Learn and practice playing a popular American version of this ancient Chinese game on Mondays during the Club year. It's part strategy, part luck ... and loads of fun!
First Friday Fun and Games
Let's have some fun playing a variety of games such as Sequence, Bananagrams, or other games good for groups. Play time will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on the first Friday of the month. Members will be asked to volunteer to host and choose the game to play.
